CAN Class "True Love"

This was the final project for my character animation class. We had a variety of soundclips to choose from and only a week to complete it. This particular animation took 5 days and represents the climax of what I learned for that month.

It was a huge leap forward in my personal development as an animator, and has given me a great deal of insight for future animation. You should see the progression upon looking at the animation projects before this. A few of the major aspects I will improve are staging, and uneven timing. My characters will have more reserved movements, and will no longer be pushed into uncomfortable positions for the rig, as well as the silhouette. Uneven timing to offset body parts so that they do not reach the same place at the same time.

More projects to come so stay tuned and thanks for looking!

CAN Class "Emotional Change"

Heres is my depiction of a roid user wanting to eat a piece of chicken badly.

This project was also given a week deadline and I completed this the third week of Character Animation.
I must say I struggled with this animation, but struggles reward strength. This clip taught me a a great deal about staging, timing, and posing. It was also the first time I had achieved techniques such as a stagger. The biggest impact on me has been noticing the change between this piece and the final soundclip project. It's like rocketfuel for creating more animation.

CAN Class "Emotion Walk"

My first full on walk in 3D. I pushed myself on this project to exaggerate the strut by breaking the elbows and making elabroate swings. This was also where animation curves really started to 'click' for me in the graph editor.
I look forward to replacing this project with more improved work in short time. Please bring on the C&C. I hope you enjoyed!

Choosing

My Final photoshop art piece for Art History. First time I ever used photoshop to digitally paint. Learned a lot from this experience, and it has caused me to start better, more realistic paintings on the side. We had to chose an artist to mimic, and I chose Henning Ludvigsen due to his photographic like paintings. Henning was a great inspiration and forced me to push myself to the limit what I could do in the time frame to make this. By no means an exceptional art piece but a beginning.
